Terms of use

Buying access to the film means you agree to the plain terms below. If you don't, please don't buy it — write to us with any questions instead.

What you're buying

A one-time, personal, non-transferable licence to stream and download The Chin Swee Road Incident (approximately 42 minutes, 1080p, MP4). Price: S$6.90, inclusive of GST where applicable. Payment is taken outside this site via PayNow or direct bank transfer in Singapore Dollars.

Delivery

After the access form is submitted, we send you a payment link by email within a few hours (Singapore business hours). Once payment clears, we send the streaming link and download link to the same email. Links do not expire, but we recommend saving the download.

Refunds

If the film link does not work for you and we cannot fix it within 24 hours of you reporting the problem, we refund the full amount. To request a refund, reply to your delivery email. No refunds for change of mind after you have watched the film.

What you can and can't do with the file

• Watch it, as many times as you like, on your own devices.
• Show it privately at home with friends and family.
• Do not re-upload it, share the link publicly, sell it, or use it commercially.
• Do not remove credits, subtitles, or the studio disclaimer at the end.
• For public screenings, festivals, or educational licensing, write to hello@chinsweeroadstory.life. We are friendly and reasonable about this.

Nature of the film

This is an independent documentary film. It is not an official report and is not legal advice. It is not affiliated with the Singapore Police Force, any government agency, or any news organisation. Where the film cites public records or interviews, sources are listed in the end credits and in the release notes sent with the download.

Liability

To the extent permitted by Singapore law, Kallang Basin Pictures Pte. Ltd. is liable to you only up to the amount you paid for the film. We are not liable for indirect losses arising out of your use of it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute we cannot resolve by writing to each other will be dealt with by the Singapore courts.
